Best place to buy fresh seafood. Period. We tried Robbie's in June 2021 when my family was camping at Monterey. I was randomly searching for local seafood place and saw great Yelp reviews for Robbie's. Man... we wish we knew this place much earlier. We bought some oysters and Robbie gave us some "French Kiss" to try. It's so sweet and delicious!!! You don't need anything else to go with it, just eat raw. We were hooked and kept going back to buy more. Price was very reasonable. We didn't even find anything cheaper in Seattle even though the oyster was from Canada. After we left Monterey, Robbie's fresh seafood was what we missed the most about Monterey. In September, we went back again and tried mussels (scrumptious and fresh), black cod (tender and yummy)... we feel like we could buy anything there and it won't disappoint. It's also quite a scene to watch when they throw the fish bones/heads to the water and the seals and seagulls get into a feeding frenzy! Those seals must love this guy so much too :) Can't wait to visit and feast again!

Ok, so this man was extremely cool about things the prices ARE WHOLESALE! Oysters were only .80 and he threw in an extra 10 for me. Not like the other company that's in the front of the pier that lies and said they were wholesale and not. Read my other review about them. They lied to me "Monterey fish Company" and said no one else existed. This man was a true honest businessman. His fish was truly fresh so fresh IT MOVED! Go see this man, he needed no advertisements. Just his words alone and his actions alone deserves your business. As he is so he is so generous. He didn't have to throw in so much extra.. but he did. Thank you!! You remind me of my dad. Whole sale fish. Glad we saw this kayaking, had no idea it was here. A few local options, a lot of other options. Nice folks. Good prices for the area. Can't beat the fresh!
Excellent product and service! Super fresh shrimps and they literally were alive and still dancing in the box. Oysters fresh and had nice salty flavor. Very pleased with seafood quality! The place is at the very end of the pier and you can see many sealions there in the water.
